Clay has been extensively involved in financial markets for decades. In 1984 he started as a senior investment officer with a major national bank and went on to celebrate over 35 years of achievements with a prestigious advisory firm before founding Secure Wealth Financial Group USA.
Clay has been awarded some of the industry's highest honors. As a Lifetime Member of the worldwide Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Clay achieved "Top of the Table" status, which is MDRT's highest honor and is only awarded to the top 1% of its members. Clay has also consistently earned recognition as a top producer from companies with whom he affiliates. Awards include the "Golden Eagle" of the Conference/Chairman's Council, which Clay has earned consistently since 1999, and the Royal Blue Conference/President's Club where he achieved the Circle of Excellence award for outstanding performance for his broker-dealer, and Associate of The Year. Clay has also been honored for his, "...dedication to excellence , commitment to personal values, and his discipline to succeed," by his peers.
Clay has also demonstrated a keen commitment to strengthening the financial services community as a whole. Clay's expertise in the financial markets resulted in his service as a member of the Agent's Advisory Council, which is an elected leadership committee responsible for representing agents through out the country and assisting executive teams and senior management of several national financial organizations in defining strategic initiatives. Clay has also served on the local board of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers.
Clay focuses his practice primarily on three areas; working closely with CPA's, attorneys, and their clients; assisting small business owners and retirees with retirement planning; and working extensively with all types of qualified and non qualified plans with an emphasis on tax reduction strategies and safe money investing. Clay has also been the keynote speaker at numerous seminars regarding various financial topics of interest.
Clay's passion is protecting the assets his clients have worked so hard to acquire. He loves to be of service to family, friends, and all with whom he comes in contact. Clay considers his most important treasures to be his family and friends.
